The Vestry and congregation at Church of the Advent feel a strong sense of commitment to help those in our community, region, nation and the world who are less fortunate. This can take the form of cash gifts to organizations which serve a very specific purpose. During the course of the year, however, there is almost always a project going on that includes collection of food or goods to give away, the making of meals for those who are ill, walking for hunger, selling additional produce from the garden for the cause of hunger and the list goes on.
